At Kalender Safe we respect the privacy of our visitors and customers. This notice explains, under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), which personal data we process when you use our website, for what purposes and on which legal grounds, who we share it with, and the rights you have.

The data we process on this website comes only from the sources below. We do not ask for any data we do not need.

Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed only for the following purposes, and in a limited and proportionate way in connection with them:

  • Receiving, assessing and answering the information, quote, dealership and after-sales requests you send through the contact form or by email,
  • Sending a newsletter about products, collections and announcements, if you have consented,
  • Keeping the website and its forms secure, and preventing spam, automated (bot) requests and abuse,
  • Keeping the website technically operational and available,
  • Meeting our legal obligations, responding to requests from competent authorities and protecting our rights and interests in any dispute.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. To provide the service we share data only with the following service providers, and only for the stated purpose:

Where the law requires, information may be shared with competent public authorities and courts on their request, to the extent permitted by the relevant legislation.

Transfers abroad: The servers of the service providers above may be located outside Türkiye (for example in the European Union or the United States), so your data may be transferred abroad. Such transfers rely on one of the mechanisms provided in Article 9 of KVKK (an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or the exceptional cases listed in the law).

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website does not use advertising, analytics or profiling cookies or tracking technologies. The only exception is the Google Maps embed on the Contact page: that map is operated by Google, which may use its own cookies. The other technical items listed below are necessary for the site to work and need no separate consent.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you do, your language preference may not be remembered. Fonts are served from our own server and no external font service is used.

Our website contains links to Securam and to our Facebook, X and Instagram accounts. The owners of those sites are responsible for their privacy and cookie practices; no data is shared with them unless you click a link.

Retention Periods

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires, and within the retention and limitation periods set by the relevant legislation:

Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unlawful processing of, access to and loss of your personal data:

  • All communication with our website is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
  • Forms are protected against abuse with bot verification, rate limiting and origin checks.
  • A strict content security policy (CSP) is enforced; only necessary third-party resources (bot verification, map) are allowed.
  • Access to data is limited to authorised people who need it for their duties.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely risk-free. For that reason we recommend not sending sensitive data such as identity, financial or health information through the contact form.

Your Rights under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to:

  1. Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  2. Request information about it if it has been processed,
  3. Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
  4. Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
  5. Request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
  6. Request deletion or destruction under Article 7 of KVKK,
  7. Request that actions taken under (d) and (e) be notified to the third parties to whom your data was transferred,
  8. Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems,
  9. Claim compensation if you suffer damage because your data was processed unlawfully.

How to Apply

You can send your requests, together with information that verifies your identity and a description of your request, by email to info@kalendersafe.com or in writing to Çayyolu, 2661. Cad. No:3, 06810 Çankaya/Ankara.

Your application is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.

If you find the response inadequate or receive no response in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr) within thirty days of learning the response and, in any case, within sixty days of your application.

You can end your newsletter subscription at any time by writing to info@kalendersafe.com. Unsubscribing does not affect how we answer your other requests.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you notice that data belonging to a minor has been sent to us, please tell us at info@kalendersafe.com and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as legislation or our services change. The current text is always published on this page; for significant changes the “Last updated” date at the top of the page is renewed.
